F-106 Banshee

Role: Long Range Heavy Fighter Tags: Alpha 10.x, warp engine, pressurized compartment for extended survival, NO Shield, upgradeable

The Banshee's main role is obviously to carry weapons... lots of them while staying relatively compact. To increase the range and the independence of the Banshee it was fitted with a warp drive. To increase the pilot's survivability AdCorp Space Defense also added a small emergency crew compartment. Should the pilot crash or otherwise be forced to land on an uninhabitable planet the pilot can use the on board construction facilities to survive and repair any damage to the Banshee.

Main features: - Unlock level 12 - 2 x constructors - 1 x armor locker - 1 x O2 station - 1 x fridge - 2 x ammo compartment (2x1624) - 2 x cargo compartments (1x2000 & 1x5000) - 4 x gatling guns - 4 x missile launchers

Note: I added a custom logic that switches off most RCSs and thrusters when you're landed. It usually works fine when you're using a flat landing pad. When you're using i.e. horizontal hangar doors you might run into issues because the gear (that the signal is attached to) lowers very early and that will also disable the RCSs and thrusters much too early. If you use that kind of base configuration you have to disable that logic by i.e. deleting the TX signal from the front gear.

Update: 24.05.2019 - I have reduced the weaponry (removed railguns and replaced the homing missile launchers with regular ones) on the Banshee to bring the unlock level down to 12 and remove the need for Zascosium and Erestrum. The new Wraith is meant to be the fully upgraded (level 20) version of the Banshee. - I prepared a place beneath the floor of the passenger compartment for a shield generator - Slight modifications to the body to use some of the new A10 shapes
