The Firestorm is a upgradeable Weapon platform to take out shielded POIs. Stock it comes with 2 Laser cannons and 1 Turret, but can be upgraded up to a total of 6laser cannons and two turrets. Should top out at C5 or C6.
For the start, it will provide a solid platform to fight your first ground POIs, provided you can get the materials needed. Lightly armored, so keep your shield up. Mobility is rather low, it's set up for firepower and supportequipment.
In addition to space for more weapons and thrusters, also comes with some internal upgrade space.
