The Honeybadger Quantum-Corvette

The Honeybadger is a flight-optimized Pocket-Battleship, A Ship able to engage in all advanced shield-fighting maneuvers, with a streamlined hull and multi-component-type low-slung decoys, she's an extremely able and quick shield-fighter.

The ship's niche/purpose is Maximum firepower on the lightest and tightest possible airframe, whereas the Ayamara Fast Battleship comes standard as a 4 Quantum with 31 Turrets, the Honeybadger, also at 4 quantums, Comes standard with up to 48 Turrets, or 43 with 3 of them being Artillery pieces.

With a bull-pup design and 100% Front-seated Open-view cockpit, The Honeybadger brings new levels of both precision, and excitement to Space combat. Wanna get up close and personal to see what you're coring? With this cockpit design, you can bring your cockpit seat to within 2 blocks of an enemy ship to see exactly what you're firing at. None of your cockpit is viewable once seated, you are seemingly floating in open-space once seated. Omni-directional Turret protection: The Honeybadger has both Vertical, Undermounted, & overmounted turrets all firing on your forward plane. It has 2 Vertically mounted turrets on its side for 100% omnidirectional anti-drone fire from just those 2 placements. ( excellent place for a couple heavy lasers ). Undermounted turrets mean it also moonlights as a very able ground-pounder, and at 14+ G's, it can comfortably fly and maneuver on any High-G planet, face up, face down, right-side up, and even on it's sides.

With Inset-glass buffers built into the frontal air frame, and multi-layered Xeno armor at your front and shielding your core and core components, a slip or a shake isnt going to send you to the deep-end. Between your frontal armor and the array of thrusters and turrets in front of your component section, the ship can take a substantial beating to the face ( provided you're piloting from the secure cockpit ) if needed while still being flight-worthy. A segregated CPU / Quantum section means even if worse comes to worse, you can recover the most valuable parts if the ship is disabled or cored. The ship also has a Core-fail-safe placement, so the core goes before your component section, saving you money and time on recovery/repairs.

This is a purpose-built ship, and it's purpose is combat. She's light, she's tight, & she has one purpose, Killing. This is not a tour-bus, or a place to grow vegetables, this is not your daily-driver, This is Chuck Norris's Daily-driver. To that end, I've given her Suicide force-field doors for frictionless movement from the cockpit into open-space for fast looting of downed enemies. Despite being a ship 100% built for CV combat, the honeybadger does have a rear hangar and will house 1 HV/SV.

With Sleek shaping, texture and race-stripes in Black, white & red, the ship's appearance defines it's purpose, Speed and Aggression.
