Idor Patrolvessel - hv

basicly a box carmouflaged as an hv ;)

(focus here was mainly functionality = to get the most stuff into the space + keeping it cheap, only cobalt form rocket turrets and sathium due to combat steel)

UPDATED for CPU, still level 12: - now CPU T4 - switched ammo and cargo, now 9k ammo and 1k cargo - replaced jet thrusters with T2 large ones -> better thrust - run a clearpivot - now comes with shield+pentaxid tank --------------

notes: - combat steel - 1 cockpit, 1 passenger seat - 6 gatlings, 6 minigun turrets, 4 rocketturrets, 1250 ammo storage (all turrets are not retractable) - only jet thrusters (have best fuel efficency and are cheap, but you can get more performance with the L ones) - all thrusters behind shutters - cargo 9230 and some boxes - harvest cargo 9279, 3 harvesters, spot for multiturret on the back above door - you can directly acess fuel,o2 tank (fuel is left side front behind the ramp) - spot for shieldgenerator and pentaxid tank (see pictures), comes without these, because it's cheaper - topside docking below cv's (can double as turret spots) - you can enter passenger seat from belwo if you hover high to get into the ship (ramp linked to motionsensor) - o2 station,armor locker, 2 fridges, 2 constructors, clone chamber, medi station - dronehatch with spot to start drone (see picture) - powersave mode (rcs and thrusters off) lever in the front - spotlights linked to lever - flares outside linked to p menu - all lights+lcds inside linked to motion sensor (exception is the front one right side of cockpit) - you can easily switch outside colors (the ones on the right of the palett, see picture) - you probably need at least a 6x5 hanagr door for this. (i originally thought i could get this in the 5x3, but it's basicly not working, with retractable side turrets and hovering under 0.5m it is possible on a completly flat surface, but it is a precision job. so not practical at all)

originally designed as a patrol in the deserts of tamir by sd industries. it was called desert box or dessert box by the pilots due to it's duty and carrying capabilities as a joke.

some versions of this got captured by the enemy. It turnes out not only in the desert this hv performs very well. from the combat data aquired the vessel quickly was modified and sold all over the galaxy. it became notorious as guarding vessel on Idor's salts mines, where it slowly replaced nearly all other vessels. after that the most common name given was Idor Patrolvessel or just IP.
