Introducing, Ithil.
A ssssuuuuuupppppeeeerrrr super super super fast, tiny, very cheap, and well-armed survival SV.
Since some of the thrust changes introduced in versions 4.x I have been very unhappy with the SV acceleration and agility. This is a frustration that is sort of, over-arching, and extends to most of the designs on the workshop and my own.
Ithil fixes all of that. Nigh instantaneous acceleration forwards, backwards, and both vertical directions up and down. Can turn on a dime, and the 3 rocket launchers will mince most POI weaponry(you will still need to dodge though as Ithils strength is its speed NOT its armor.) It also spawns in a pleasingly short amount of time off the BP factory.
Ithil does lack an oxygen station and constructor, but there is room on its frame for both if you really want them.
Enjoy!
Addendum 12/10/2016: I would be remiss in my duties as a designer if I did not mention the ship this was inspired by; the Ripper by Mr. X:

This ship did/does not go far enough for my own exacting standards of speed, agility, and level-dependant utility but by doing so yet still being a solid design, it gave me the answer in a trail of breadcrumbs to the question of balancing thrust, vs armament that I have been seeking for some time. I set out to eliminate everything but the four wings, the thrusters, and the cockpit. Then I added everything around those and the result, while still not quite possessing the pitch/roll/yaw agility I prefer, was still a HUGE step in the right direction.
I do not mind saying, that my resistance to this change in design was frustration born out of wings that are not voxel-dependant, but fixed models in and of themselves and I like the idea of having to build your own wings as opposed to have them built for you.
Still, at the end of the design session, the ship(s) need to be able to take on murderous alien scum, and Ithil definitly does that. :)
Addendum #2 12/10/2016: Just got rid of the second ammo box. The weight loss very pleasantly increased this ships acceleration even further. Updated the resource requirements and control panel info screen.
