IW Emerald T3 V1 lvl15

A CV that is somewhere between starter and endgame. Meant to be next step up from a starter CV or if you just wanna save up and go right to this one.

My personal favorite starter CV

Build to meet your needs in a single player play trough.

This is basically how i would have build the IW Sapphire without lvl 10 and cpu T2 limitations.

-More thrusters -More cargo -T1 Shield -More turrets -More equipment -Way more fuel and O2 capacity -Added a drill cockpit in front with easy access.

Two advanced constructors and most of the things you need. There is a repair console, but no repair bay. You make the T1 or T2 as you go. Place for 45 grow plots, but non included.

The hull is made mainly in Steel blocks to keep the weight down.

-Eco mode to save fuel when flying. (Cuts power to some thrusters.)

-Hibernation mode. -Gravity generator turns off when landing gear is down.

Hangar door is 9x5

Motion sensor on teleporter, turns off shield and activates teleporter.

Storage: - 2x320 Ksu cargo - 2x200 Ksu cargo (These can easy be expanded further back in the engine room if needed) - 1x40 Ksu ammo - 8 cargoboxes

Total storage: 1200 Ksu

-Tested on 1.01 G planet with total weight of 41.7 Kt -Tested in 4.17 G with total weight of 10 Kt The weight of the ship is about 3 Kt (There is place for more thrusters if needed)

-Place for drills/rocket or laser weapons between the spotlights, and one of the container controllers can be swapped out with harvest controller. -Marked spot for retractable tool turret under drill cockpit.

Signal logic is pointed to each device, so auto group is no problem.

I used it in my new start in A12 until i had resources to build IW Black Pearl MKII. In my game play i have upgraded to T2 shield and added 4 rocket launchers. I also removed the center ramp to get better view when using the drill cockpit, mounted 3 drill lasers between the spotlights "added 3 more later on". Works amazingly good. The front cockpit is also very useful when emptying auto miners.

Been flying with eco mode on almost all the way. Only turned it off when fighting a rocket defence and when entering 4G planets. Feel free to give critic in the comments.
