IW Topaz XR (reforged)

Updated to 1.7 added more shield but not fully tested in this version of the game. Had to remove some turrets to make it CPU compliant after the latest version of the scenario.

Several people have requested me to build a reforged edition of this vessel, so here it is. The Xeno Reforged edition

Build a Capital Vessel thats main focus is to initiate in direct combat with NPC Cruisers and above.

The main purpose for this vessel is to escort a CV carrier and fight as a support vessel in hard combats. But it can also be used to a variety of missions. Intended for experienced end game players.

Built to fit on the deck of "IW Tanzanite"

It does have a more military design than some of my other builds in the gemstone-series. Made as compact as i could and still try to keep the design, make space for all weapons and decent protection of vital parts of the ship.

During the the rebuild to make it functional in reforged, most of the interior is completly rebuilt and most of the thrusters and vital parts are moved to gain better protection and avoid chain reaction. The garden and hangar is removed.

I recommend swapping the flak turrets with missile turrets as soon you get quantum cores. Then you can take out a Infector without loosing shield at all. If going hard core against a Decimator i recommend placing a 3x1 thruster on each side of the boarding ramp in the floor. Then you can turn them on in case you should loose the front thrusters.

This is just on the limit of cpu and has 41 turrets. The one i use myself has 5 quantum extenders and 82 turrets.
