KI-Northstar

As time marched on, the Asclepius had finally outlived her technology and was no longer able to perform her duties efficiently. At last she was relegated to spending the remainder of her life floating stale in a Colonist Shipyard watching the combat ships nearby all get purchased and scrapped. Time passed and at last galactic opportunities shifted. As conflicts raged and new systems discovered, there was an increasing need for supplies to be spread across the galaxy. The fact that the Asclepius was not built for combat made her perfect. She had the space in the ship that could be used to carry far more cargo and equipment than her weapon clad counterparts. Thus she was towed to a nearby shipyard for a full refit and repurposed with all new state of the art equipment along with reserved area to outfit her further should her new captain wish. With a whole new identity as the Northstar, she boasts a new pen rear deck design for cargo containers and an upper truss platform that can used to carry smaller vessels or be outfitted with automated mining equipment to further supply the galaxy with vital resources. The Northstar is also outfitted to be able to repair fellow CVs if they can be save, and a salvage turret should they be beyond repair. The remainder of the equipment will be listed below.
