Lore:

Throughout the Kriel's evolution over billions of years, at one point it is believed there was a catastrophic event nearly wiping out the race. Popular theories suggest this forced the faction to split having two queens/hives and in different environments altering their evolution. This was unknown to humans having only seeing Kriel as a single race not knowing of a different, possibly older race that are much more elusive. Data recovered after the deep space mining hub "Hephaestus Spaceport" that was recently destroyed shown a new Kriel like ship but clearly different in both color and design. Believed to be a living bio-mechanical high bred, scientist are trying to come to terms with this new and extremely dangerous discovery and what it's intention might be. As we know, the Kriel we are familiar with operate via hive mind and seem to be on a non stop quest to gather resources to continually expand their colony viewing all life with the exception of insects to be a threat. After combating and studying the Kriel for some time, we find them be extremely efficient but also predictable. However everything we seen through recovered data salvaged from the Hephaestus shows the behavior of this new unknown ship/race to be different and did not appear to attack the spaceport for resources like would be expected with standard Kriel.

The names of current known Kriel ships were all made by humans and we really have no idea what the names actually are, if any, as we cannot communicate with them or comprehend any data we find. So, humans are naming new Kriel ships spotted to pass along intel to command from recorded or recovered AVS data(Audio, visual, sensor) or by first contact survivors. In this case, a survivor named this ship after a fictional dragon from a video game series. The person was the sole survivor that was lucky enough to be in a small section of the station that was not breached. Some even believe this was intentional to pass along the story of the encounter as the rest of the station was completely devastated.

Beyond the differences in colors and structure, it was also noted that this Kriel ship was much more lethal than the Kriel vessels we have become accustom to. They are possibly more technically advanced and older, so it was decided to call them "Kriel Elder". Many questions remain, like are there more of them, what are their intentions, did they show up now for a reason, do they have a relationship to existing Kriel besides evolution? We just simply do not know at the time, but are on high alert.

Important information

The Bahamut requires a total 4.3 million CPU to operate and does not come with any quantum/auxiliary cores stock. Inside you will see some parts and upgrade information and it does have locations to add these cores. You can power up the ship without the additional cores, but it would be severely under powered and also damage/destroy the generators if the ship is moved in this state.

Offense and Defense

The Bahamut has an impressive arsenal of weaponry. This includes 8 artillery launchers, 30 minigun ,16 plasma, and 24 missile turrets. The hull is mainly built with combat steel and is layered with some xeno material for reinforcing. The front of the ship is mostly a hit box/decoy so the more powerful turrets further back can survive the battle. The ship has more or less another "bridge" ship within it for an additional protection. It also comes with T2 shield, 2 320K ammo bays, and all critical parts are sealed off to avoid chain reaction damage. 3rd person only cockpit.

Upgradeable Features

The ship has locations to add 4 additional T1 generators (1x3), RCS, Long Range radar, an additional CPU core blocks. Also it is recommended if CPU permits to upgrade existing turrets to better versions that can be acquired in Reforged Eden game play.

Survival Features

The ship comes with 2 advanced constructors, 2 320K ammo bays, a full medical bay, o2 and station, armor locker and repair, fridge, cooking station, 2 passgener seats, and a few additional cargo boxes. It has a single entry point on the bottom back area just in front of the rear landing gear. The ship can only be flown in 3rd person and has no first person cockpit.

Features Summary:

1. CV Tier 4, Class 7, player unlock 25 2. Combat steel layered hull with some xeno reinforcing, sealed critical parts 3. 2 320K ammo bays, 2 Advanced constructors, some upgrade options/slots 4. 30 Minigun, 24 missile, and 16 plasma turrets plus, 8 artillery launchers 5. Fridges, cooking station, full medical bay, o2, Wifi, detector, 2 passenger seats 6. Armor locker and armor repair, 4 additional cargo boxes. 7. 3rd person bridge only. 8. T2 shield, Advanced Warp drive

I hope you enjoy!

Notes: The ship is designed for frontal attacks and provides 360 degree drone protection via minigun turrets. You should always try to face the target. This provides much more armor, and most of turrets will have an unobstructed fire range besides a few minigun 360 degree turrets. While letting the turrets rip, also try to use the artillery launchers to hit the targets where it might have the greatest impact on disabling them. And hopefully, have fun! :)
