Greetings!
I'm happy to show one of my latest blueprint, the Lazarus Heavy Cruiser. I originally designed this ship for a special request for my faction. Since most of our capital vessels served as transports, cargo ships and carriers, they were less reliable in a PvP situlation, even if we upgraded their armor to combat steel. We decided to construct a new fleet, directly focusing on PvP combat, so we summarized our unique needs for these vessels. These ships are supposed to be cheap, so we can mass construct them for every single member of the faction. They should be well protected and armed, with atleast 3 or 4 layers of combat steel, even at the non-vital areas. They must have good acceleration, and mobility, and finally, most of the turrets should be able to fire forward, for maximum effectiveness. I volunteered to design this ship, because I was a bit bored in the flying bricks, that can be seen as main PvP vessels.
So these were the circumstances at the birth of this ship. I belive I was able to fill these special requests above. Its resource cost is quite low for a PvP vessel, yet it offers reliable protection in frontal assaults (average 5 layers of combat steel protects the vital areas). The ship has exellent maneuverability (see the statistics in the pictures), and quite heavily armed. This is a top-notch quality ship, if you want to do some raiding, or ore hunting in PvP areas, and want to spare your flagship in the process. 2 or 3 faction members sitting in vessel like this, can not only survive random encounters with other raiders and factions, but can take down even a lot larger opponent together.
In this build I did not use any devices, that needs zasco or ere ignots, so it can be constructed quite easily, but after construction, you manually need to replace the turrets with laser or plasma turrets if you see fit. I designed it to have some space for rocket launchers and pulse lasers, you just need to "dig" some holes to the fontal section (that shouldnt be hard, since it has several layers of armor there). It is easy to maintain and repair (due to the small size).
Construction time: 7h 51m Size: 25x12x19
Weapons: 6 Minigun Turret 4 Rocket Turret 6 Cannon Turret 6 Flak Turret 2 Artillery Turret 3 Sentry Guns (in the hangar)
Devices: 3 Large Constructors (should be upgraded once built) 2 Fridge (T2) 6 Fuel Tank (T3) 6 Large Generator (T1) 1 Gravity Generator 1 Medic Station 1 O2 Station 4 RCS (T2) 1 Warp Drive 1 Warp Core
I hope you like this ship, as much I do. Please let me know what you think about her, I am always open for constructive feedbacks. Before you reupload it I kindly ask to write me a message for the permission, and link the original ship in the description!
