Leopard Dropship

Description

Leopard dropship based on the Battletech/Mechwarrior game series (MW5 variant).

Please note: This is a replica design. It is fully functional but by far not optimal in use of CPU power and block count! You can upgrade it to a reasonable fighter (see below), but it does not have the sacrificial hull and decoys for endgame hunting.

The Leopard features a full set of 4 Mech/SV hangars with side doors and battle drop floor options. Ramp access on the back allows loading or unloading of heavy cargo and occasional tank/HV approach.

The ship is equipped lore accurate with: 2x PPC (Plasma Canon) 3x LRM20 (medium Missile Turret) 7x Medium Laser (Light Modulated Laser Turret) 5x Large Laser (Medium Laser Turret)

Battle upgrades

If you would like to bring the Leopard into battle, I would suggest upgrading the CPU (There is space on the shelfs in the main hangar, just remove the small containers and railings) and add a couple of T3 Guns on the back wings (see the final, apocryphal picture)
