***Updated for 5.x*** As we can no longer have 8x of the same weapon I have replaced them with 4x gattling gun and 4x homing missiles. As such it can still be built with materials from the starter system with a quick visit to the moon/asteroids.

Not anywhere as nimble as it was before due to material weight increases but still a great all round ship. Enjoy.

Due to patch 4.0 having drastic changes in block and item weights I have simply done the minimal changes required to make the vessel 4.0 compatible. SV's are now very heavy and slow and I believe more balancing will be required so I will hold off making more adjustments until several more hotfixes are released to better even out the drastic weight increase verses thruster performance. For example, the ship used to weight 8,000 KG and now its 37,000 KG. Changes made were remove the 8 gatling guns and instead use 4x plasma cannon and 4x rail gun. This is also because in 4.0 we have a maximum weapon count as well so 8x gatling guns are no longer possible. I added only one new pic (see the last picture in the sequence above) to show this weapon loadout change. I will make other changes and pictures once patch 4.x is more balanced.

My adaptation of the glass wing was to design a more multipurpose ship yet also make it an aggressive fighter in both firepower and maneuverability.

With everything you need for both offensive attacks on POI's or PVP to survival components such as fridge, cargo, oxygen and even a constructor this ship will fulfill many needs.

The outside shape has also be re-worked, 8 Gattling Guns have been positioned and centered as close to the cockpit as possible to concentrate firepower. Why gattling guns? I have a new found respect for these weapons in recent testing, in this quantity they tear thru their target and in the hands of a skilled pilot they just don't miss.

Plenty of thrust has been provided for dodging incoming fire as well. Just don't expect it to be cheap on fuel though and be sure to carry extra fuel, ammo and 02 in one of the provided cargo boxes.

I experimented with lighting and as you can see the effect on the glass is quite remarkable, it actually looks better in-game than the screenshots. Some may not like the lights or have a performance hit depending on your PC specs so feel free to remove or adapt as desired. Unfortunately they are on the outside as there was not a single space left unused inside the ship to place them. The lights will also be the first to go if you are hit.
