Medusa Flatbed

Medusa Flatbed HV / SV Hauler (CPU T3, Size Class 3 SV, unlock level 12)

Primary Roles: HV / SV Carrier, Armed Scout, Temporary Storage, Single Player, Coop Secondary Roles (With Severus Miner Docked) : Asteroid Mining, Planetary Mining

Medusa Flatbed is a warp capable CPU T3, HV / SV and can be upgraded to CPU T4. This is a starter SV for any players who would like to haul their mining HVs or Tank accross the system map. It's primary role is to ferry assault tanks or mining HVs to their designated locations and be on station until the HVs completed their mission(s). Eventhough it is capable to eliminate any threats at the landing zone, it is not capable to assault POIs because it is lightly armored and by default, it only has 4 gattling guns as its primary armament. Plus it has no shield, but can be install once upgraded to T4.

In terms of CPU, thrusters and armament, Medusa Flatbed is upgradeable. There's 2x additional CPU slot, 2x additional weapon mounts, 6x turret mounts (2 in the front, 2 at the rear & 2 on the side) and a hidden area to place the shield generator. It has 2x cargo container and 2x cargo box. A large Ammo Box, 2x constructors, 1x armor locker and 1x O2 Station. There’s 2 passenger seats for players to bring along their friends for the ride. It is also designed to fit in a 13x7 hangar door for any base or CV with enough room to support it.

Offense\Defense

By default, It has 4 gattling guns to clear any threat in the landing zone. The hull is built with Steel Blocks, so don't assault POIs because there's no shield generator, you will get rekt. There is 2 additional weapon mounts and 6 turret mounts on the SV. You can upgrade Medusa's armamanet and defensive capabilities once you've ugraded to CPU T4.

CPU Points Components

By default, the blueprint CPU is at T3 and working at 100% efficiency. There’s an additional CPU slot to upgrade to CPU T4.

Survival Components.

In terms of survivability, Medusa Flatbed is equipted with 2x cargo container, 2x cargo box, 2x constructors, 1x armor locker and 1x O2 station.

Defense Components

The blueprint is not equipt with shield generator but it does have a warp engine and a pentaxid tank. You can access the fuel, 02 and pentaxid tank at the rear of fuselage. There you can also install a shield generator once the BP has been upgraded to T4.

Mining Operations.

Medusa is capable to carry the Severus Mining SV on top of its fuselage and can be access through the hatch. With Severus, The Medusa Flatbed SV is capable to do planetary mining and asteroid mining.

Upgrades

You can upgrade the CPU from T3 To T4, there's 2x additional slots for it in the cockpit. After upgrading to CPU T4, You can place a shield generator, just below the fuel & pentaxid acces point. You can also place 4x additional weapons below the gatling guns. You can also place 6x gatling turrets at the turret mounts situated below and the side of the SV. For additional maneuverability, you can remove the Large Thrusters at the front and back of the SV and replace it with Medium Thrusters 2x5x2.
