The Fafnir Mech/SV based on the Battletech/Mechwarrior game series (MW5 variant).
Please note: This is a replica design. It is fully functional but is likely not the best use of block space and CPU.
Sometimes there is need for a precision hole being produced in an enemy base or ship, at places your typical warship just can't get to. In such cases, The Fafnir is the tool of choice. Equipped with a total of 4 Gauss rifles (Heavy Railgun), enemy canopies are Swiss cheese just as fast as bases are cored or guns silenced.
The addition of a jump drive allows you to follow pirates to battlefields where capital vessels are not invited at all. All the while, a medium automated point defence laser keeps you safe from smaller thugs, trying to grab your loot.
