UPDATED FOR v1.8!
Please see changelog for recent changes.
Uses 1 x T2 CPU, unlocks at level 10.
Replacing the now discontinued "Puck", Nova features many improvements over its predecessor and does not require any Zascosium or Erestrum to build.
Despite being designed as a practical, cheap, early game CV, Nova doesn't skimp on equipment. She has everything onboard that you need for PvE survival, including:
1 x Advanced Constructor 1 x Container Controller with extenders (80,000 volume capacity) 1 x Container Controller (Ammo) with extender (16,000 volume capacity) 2 x Armour Lockers 2 x Fridges 1 x Food Processor 10 x T2 Fuel Tanks 4 x T1 Fuel Tanks 2 x Interior Pop-up Sentry Turrets 1 x Gravity Generator 1 x Medic Station & one of each medical station type 1 x Clone Chamber 1 x Warp Drive (and tank) 2 x Large O2 Tanks 2 x Small O2 Tanks 1 x O2 Station 1 x Ventilator 4 x Passenger Seats 1 x T1 Power Generator 1 x T1 RCS 1 x Large Cargo Container 1 x Small Cargo Container 1 x Pop-up Cannon Turret (can be upgraded or swapped for a utility turret) 2 x Cannon Turrets 1 x Grow Light with 9 grow pots pre-installed 1 x Detector 1 x Wireless Connection
There is room to add a repair bay, repair console and repair station onboard when ready (place in the areas marked "R"). Note that you should remove the existing steel block in the centre of the hangar to place the repair bay. The repair console goes on the currently empty balcony, overlooking the hangar - see pictures above.
Built entirely out of regular steel and armed with only 3 cannon turrets, Nova is best suited to avoiding conflict. However she should be more than capable of fighting off the occasional drone.
The hangar can be accessed towards the rear where the ramps can be deployed for you to load up to a medium sized HV or a few small HV's / SV's. There is a foot entrance towards the central underbelly of the vessel.
The whole interior is pressurised and both "half power" and "full power" switches can be found on the bridge. With half power enabled and full power disabled, only half the RCS' and thrusters will work, saving fuel. Other equipment can easily be switched on or off through use of the vessel's control panel.
