NSC OculuS was made as a entry into XCalibers Challenge for June 2020. Goal of the challenge was to make a build look "good" with just shaping.. no texturing or colors. (it is textured and colored now though :p ).
The build was made to be a mid/late game explorer in hostile territory. It has a lot of thrust to be able to deal with planets with heavy gravity and to get out quickly of sticky situations. Due to it having shields and a good array of weaponry (combined with the thrust), it can engage in combat, but do note it is not build to be a dedicated fighter. It has a oxygenated room behind the cockpit with a constructor and all the other equipment, where you can also deploy your drone from safety.
