Outpost Salus

Tier 2, Level 10 Unlock, Early-Mid-Game Space Base ---

The success of Outpost Vesta prompted further innovation in the form of Outpost Salus. True to her name as the Roman goddess of safety and prosperity, Salus soon came to represent the well-being of citizens of fringe colonies during dangerous space voyages. The Outposts would often be located on particularly treacherous space routes normally troubled by pirate activity. However, with their landing facilities the Outposts where able to deploy an Ajwain fighter to support traffic in the area, discouraging some of the more opportunistic attacks that had occurred in recent times. And when a larger scale assault took place, they had some basic defences in place in an attempt to hold out until the EDI support fleet could arrive.

This base features:

* Tier 2, Level 10 Unlock * Low cost * Class 3 * Two landing platforms able to fit most SVs * 400k storage * Medical and food prep facilities * Farm expansion area * Basic production with room for expansion * Observation deck

The structure can also be placed on shallow lake surfaces for a nice water base, however care should be taken with structural integrity.
