Phantom - Reforged Eden

This was created for the Anvil Community Challenge to create a long range SV that should be able to enable a progression that is not based on a CV (for this to work the basic jump drive has been given a weak system-warp capability on the Anvil server). See the Anvil discord for additional details. The ship will of course work within a regular RE Setting, too.

The Phantom is a large reconnaissance starship, intended to support small covert operations behind enemy lines as well as perform intelligence gathering on transmissions and enemy locations. Details are classified.

Out of the Box the phantom will be a support ship, that provides enough storage and transport capability to act as a small SV/HV-Carrier. Also to support POI runs. Note you will need some additional meds to counter status effects that are not cureable by the SV Med station, and you may need to place a tent as a respawn point.

The ship will fit in larger CV Hangars, like that of my Eclipse X CV.

It comes with a large RP-Focused interior and considerable storage space. On the back there is a docking area that allows to Dock HVs that have a Docking adapter at the top (similar concept as with my Grond, if you know that one). You can also dock the micro CV 'Caravan' that I created specifically as bandaid to supply some of the gameplay functions that are CV-exclusive: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2914559782 The small bridge at the rear exit is designed to complement this CV.

The ship is high g capable and can be upgraded well beyond what even the RE CPU upgrades allow. You will have to make choices.

Operational without aux cores, it is however heavily upgradeable: -Up to (8/8) Shield setup -Up to 20 Fixed Weapons -Up to 16 Turrets total -Up to 4 constructors All the thrusters! For details see LCDs.

Update 17.01.2023: Changed the Layout to be more useful in survival. I had to accept the sad fact that you probably will not have a good time if you try to fight POIs with this without investing into aux cores first. So for now the C9 layout it comes with is focused on being a support ship. I.e. defend the Area against drones and ground troops while you run POIs and act as a carrier and refuel/restock station for a smaller docked SV/HV.
