planetraider 3000 - starter CV

Scavenger type starter cv (or later as a miner if you use the upgraded version)

(it's a Do It Yourself concept ship, so you have to fix up a few things to make it good, the already upgraded version is on the workshop too if you dont like that)

notes: - lv7 build, so lots of limitations compared to usual starters + very small ship normal steel - 1 cockpit (space for 2 passenger seats) - 9 growplots + 2 fridges + foodprocessor - 2 cannon turrets, 4 sentrys, (space to add 2 more big turrets); 38k ammo - cargo: 196k, 205k, 186k, 124k, 219k + lots of 16k boxes - parking: 1 hv and 1 sv - starter type vessels (see screenshots, build for hv that docks on top or side, should probably work for most ones, due to side walls, if you dont like that you can build a small plattform like the screenshot) - no warp, no shields (space to add these) - repair station spot - med bay (you have to restore) - space to upgrade thrusters, rcs, fuel and o2 tanks - you can directly acess fuel/o2 tanks (when added later pentaxid too) - space for repair block+console - small crew room - side door to mine with handheld drill - 4 mounted weapon spots for drills (or weapons) - levers for footlevel acess - powersave mode +spotlight levers in cockpit - 2x small constructrs and 1 large constructor (option to add 2nd large/adv one) - WARNING: if you replace/upgrade thrusters most of the cabin will vent the o2 (growing and if upgraded medbay is sealed) -@colors: marked all the outside colors in palette, so you can easily change that

-> it's over CPU, so you should get an extender and maybe 1 RCS into this as soon as possible, but wanted to keept it at level 7

bit of rambling on my part on the concept of the ship:

the idea is that you have an early sv(or hv) with guns to acompany this cv. fly around with the cv+sv, with the sv do the combat - maybe clear a drone or two that guard these deposits or maybe shoot/disable a poi. then bring in the cv after all combat is done to mine the deposit empty (or loot/multitool the poi) and this way clear the planet (hence the name). side entrances to enable the player to easy mine with drill/drone, since new a10 mining is so fast.

the whole upgrade thing i just found worth a try, since it's a bit of adding parts/building, but really minimal stuff so great for newer players (althought the placement in this cv is not super clear on most things, due to it's small size). and i always felt weird putting complete parts i salvaged into the factory, so this feels like an interessting solution.

Disclaimer: Feel free to upload/modify/update/... my builds how you like and upload them to the workshop, i don't mind at all (includes older builds on the workshop too). Concering linking: do as you like.

2021/06/05: "updated for CPU", meaning i removed 2 rcs and a small constructor and added chairs in the front cockpit since you can sit now on these. sadly CPU is not kind to this one and the T2 extender is level 10. sits not at 260k CPU. still to much, but this was never build for CPU. so currently probably more a level 10 buid. + cleared pivot
