The V29 Hereford Carry-All is a core-7 utility small vessel designed to carry decent sized small or hover vessels to their area of operation. Have a mining or combat vessel you want to deploy, but don't want to bring your capital vessel? The Hereford can do it instead.
It comes in shielded and with an advanced warpdrive for 15 lightyear warp jumps. Upgraded with the 2 superior cpu extenders, the usable CPU goes up to 26k. The outside of the cargo clamps can be equiped with turrets, giving you 6 weapon hard points to bombard the landing zone with a weapon of choice. You could also decide to upgrade the shield to the advanced variant, or you could decide to equip the V29 with the renewed multi/drill turret combination.
There is room for 9 passengers, who can respawn at the Hereford and can find medical relief in either the cockpit or the passenger compartment, which makes it an ideal command vehicle for multiplayer POI busting. The passenger seats are public by default which gives you the opportunity to give those poor starters who joined the game right before the starter wipe a ride to a safe planet to thrive in-game.
It is powered by 4 advanced small generators and thrust is delivered by medium jet thrusters which can be upgraded to the plasma variants for increased performance.
The V29 is designed originally to work with the Mobile Forward Operating Base, which functions as a mobile storage unit with 32ksu of storage. But it can be used with any vessel of choice, of course depending om the length of it. Regarding cargo the V29 is no slouch either with an ammo capacity of 6625su and a 7ksu harvest storagebay.
