SABRE MK 2 – Class heavy fighter (SV Class 1 / CPU 4 / Unlock level 20)
This spacecraft is inspired by the FSS-1000 Sabre used by the UNSC Air Force present in the Halo's universe.
The Sabre MK 2 is a twin-engine, short range interceptor. Possessing blinding speed and agility, the Sabre is an interceptor craft, a lightweight, well armed fighter craft that sacrificed range, endurance and payload for high performance.
He’s designed for the dual purposes of peak acceleration and maneuverability in orbital combat, due in large part to a powerful afterburner system.
The Sabre MK 2's armament includes twin gatling 15mm autocannons as well as four-homing rockets missile pods and four rockets launcher. The fighter’s targeting radar can identify enemy contacts from a long distance, as well as show the distance to a target.
