Sangrenel Raider

Introducing the Sangrenel Raider, the latest build from Filbert Shipyards!

The Sangrenel Raider is a shielded warp starter CV built with a pirate style and packing some useful features into a small package. Originally designed around having a standard CV shield for maximum survivability, the Sangrenel now features a compact CV shield as the most recent update has pushed the standard CV shield from unlock level 12 to level 15... To adapt to this change i replaced the old shield with the compact one and filled in some of the 'void' area left with untextured steel blocks. I included a door on the front left side of the ship so you can use your drone to fly in and upgrade the shields after you spawn the ship once you have the materials (just remove the compact shield, innermost door, and untextured blocks and you have a 3x3x3 space for it!)

The Sangrenel has room for a passenger (second cockpit), features an 80k vol ammo controller and twin 160k vol cargo controllers. The ship also features a small hangar, living/dining suite, advanced constructor and more! The ship also boasts about 3.8kt of cargo lift at 1G. If you can swing the ~2000 neodymium needed from your starter system the Sangrenel will serve you well, help you survive in style, and aid in your quest to build up a home among the stars!

(just slap some solar panels on the side before you log off to charge the batteries and then remove them when you log back in)
