The Scavenger Alliance is a loose alliance between various factions of scavengers. A relationship of convenience more than trust. The alliance ensures that Scavengers can claim wrecks and salvage without fearing attack from other scavenger factions and are also protected from pirates and outlaws through strength in numbers.

The Hub'Orbital Station was originally a large thruster housing for an ancient battleship found adrift and abandoned in an asteroid field on the outskirts of the galaxy. It's origin is unknown but it is built from known materials, so the Alliance towed this massive hunk of debris, stripped it down and turned the shell into a hangar bay, the rest of the station was built around it. Eventually the Alliance had a sturdy, spacious orbital station they could use as a processing facility for salvaged materials and ore. It could also store fuel and other materials used to resupply alliance ships and quickly become a rest stop for nearby alliance ships.

Two CV docking arms flanked by solar panels allowed CV to offload cargo while the hangar bay could facilitate a couple of small craft too. 2 main furnaces were used to melt down ore and spare parts for later construction using the 4 advanced constructors.

Meanwhile crew could enjoy a hot meal made from food grown in the stations 36 grow plots.

The station has a full spectrum defence array that can shoot down incoming drones and small craft easily, it also has a top tier shield system to protect it from incoming ordinance. However, it rely on dedicated defence satellites to defend it form heavier threats.

As with most Alliance facilities, the Hub'Orbital has unused space within to allow individual station commanders to customise the station as they see fit.

* When spawning in space, point the front of the station directly to the sun for best Solar performance.
