Scythe-XCV

Built for Reforged Eden 2 (Beta) Core 9 Strike Cruiser Created for the Anvil Designers Challenge January 2025 and since tweaked based on use in Survival.

Scythe XCV, Core 9 Strike Cruiser (shield fighter). Combat focused and intended to be used near a carrier/forward base. Can upgrade to a Core 17 dreadnaught killer. Concept inspired by Stan2112's SSW Kirves, some LCDs modified from sulusdacor.

Suggested loadouts from Core 10 to Core 17 - see the LCD in the CPU area behind the bridge. Weapons, thrusters etc controlled from the signals section of the 'P' menu. Mostly hardened steel hull with combat steel/xeno steel in the nose and around critcal components. Decoys in the nose (2 small generators, 2 light laser cannons). Alarm sentries to try and detect those sneaky Drone Nullifiers jumping you while you're looting their comrades. Incorporates an Astra Module mount at the rear to support extended missions if required (access to module via EVA).

At spawn it can handle Imerats/Nullifiers/Guardians/Infectors. Stay mobile and don't lose the shield, retreat to recharge if necessary, fire the railguns to help with shield takedown.
