SELENE 07 Combat Light Cargo

Hop! a new one ! :-) I tried to keep it looking somehow realistic (if we can say, as we dont really have known standard :-)) Note: you can drop the class to 7 by removing inside decorations

Little story for fun: Selene was one of the very first vessels built on moon orbit to travel inner earth system. At its time, it was the biggest vessel available, with the most advanced technology, used as cargo-harverster. It had 8 cargo modules and only few crew was necessary to pilot her. No large food storage, nor weaponery was necessary, seen that earth had no known enemies by that time. Built for cargo purpose mainly, Selene could carry most of Mars colony needs for several weeks. And later participated to resupply earth's exploration outpots Hyperion, Encelade or Europa, to name only the few. Ten Selenes were built at all. The first three of them have been dismounted due to many misconstruction and recycled in orbit of Mars for stations or satelites. Three others have been equiped of landing boosters for autopiloted crashes and used as building materials for the new exploration outposts inner earth system. There are 2 unknown disparition of Selenes, the 06 and 08. They were travelling accross the system with Selene 07 to reach Pluton. They have simply stopped transmitting. Selene 07 was found few years later, unhabited and without any structural damage. Selene 10, is still on duty, and is mainly used as an orbital station of Europa.

Selene 07, have been modified and equiped with most recent technology. The front has been equiped of new sensors and radar systems. All the thrusters have been changed and the back side has been modififed with new larger thrusters and warp system. Three of the eight cargo modules had to be removed to give space for a hover bay, as now, Selene 07 could land on most planets. One of the three small drop-ship hangars has been condamned for food producing purpose, for longer travels.

Selene 07 has been engaged in multiple inner system conflicts mainly as support vessel. Few decades later, Selene participated on 51 Pegasi first flight together with more recent vessels. Years later, humanity had its first contact with another life form, which was not peacefull at all. Selene 07 managed to flee and jumped back to Eart system with all the data it could get back from the new unknown enemy.

Selene 07 has been reequipped with new weaponnery and radar system and is now considered as combat light cargo vessel.
