SkipRay - Tier 2 Battle Tank

Skipray is a light fast, heavily armed battle tank. With 5 rocket turrets and 4 gattling cannons the Skipray can handle several low to mid tier POIs all at once.

At tier 2 you can build her early game and start taking on those armed POIs asap. However, this does mean she has no shield, the armour layout on this vessel is very specific, look at the handling instructions below. The skipray does not come with all the mod cons of an explorer class vessel, equipped only with ammo storage and a small amount of O2 and O2 station she is not intended to work far away from a mothership or base.

The skipray has been built with longevity and upgradability in mind though. Underneath is two access hatches into the hollow hull area where there is enough space to fit a shield generator, pentaxid tank, extra cargo and other modifications you may need. So if you can upgrade the CPU extensions then you can slap in whatever you need to make the Skipray, that perfect tanking machine.

Handling Instructions: Without a shield its important you face your enemy. Take on one target at a time, the armour on this vessel is all at the front. Do not let the Skipray get shot in the rear, to save on weight and CPU a lot of the armour at the rear is just carbon substrate. The hot-seat is the most heavily armoured section on the tank. The cockpit has 1800 hit points so you can trust it can take plenty of hits and you're safe and sound inside but keep an eye on it if in extended combat and field repair as necessary.

Finally, Save a template, you might need to do lots of repairs. Fortunately if the heat gets too much, the Skipray has a top speed of 50ms to get you out of trouble.
