Fast, agile, sturdy, with the ability to dish out pain; the Orcinus has it all. Purpose built for hunting down and bullying any ship not wise enough to be absolutely bristling with cannons or thrusters, Orcinus is an advanced, sleek design that allows you the ability to "dogfight" other CVs below and at its class. Only SVs will have any chance at outmanuevering you, and with your thrusters protected and tucked away and your firepower focused at the front, you'll be able to dish out pain like a space orc/demon/pirate thing. Relatively well protected as well for her speed, her exterior is built completely from hardened steel. If that wasn't enough, all her thrusters are hidden within the ships internals, and she also offers a protected bridge. She is also a relatively low profile design, and self sustaining, thus, easy to hide her in the darkest corners of space and still be able to feed yourself or send out a small ship to collect resources. While a bit pricey, the Orcinus offers loads of potential for any group looking for a fast raiding ship that can hit hard and return back to base.

IRL: Orcinus was an interesting little experiment. I started with the desire to first, build a competitive design, more so than anything else on my workshop (I mostly went for refits of existing designs, or cheap ships meant to get stranded players on their feet and no more). Something potentially to replace the KayaMae Mk.III (which, it hasn't replaced it, they serve two different purposes ultimately). I wanted a raiding ship that could overwhelm any competition, a fast, manueverable, huge, well armored and armed ship. I started building this massive thing out of combat steel (the Eagle hull, I call it, which is still floating around my creative world) but got discouraged when it just seemed so expensive for what was essentially wasted empty space. So I restarted with the idea of just something that was really fast, and, with some inspiration from Star Wars (the shape was inspired by the Imperial Tartan Class) and voila, out came Orcinus, my dream baby :)
