Starside Base is a refit of a vanilla trade station I did in the Star Salvage scenario during my playthrough.
While I kept most of the internal layout I gutted each room and repurposed them into something useful for a fully function player base. StarSide base has everything you need in a base, plus its armed to the teeth and shielded so it can defend itself if attacked, although defence satellites are recommended if building in hostile space.
5x 320ksu storage boxes 1x 160ksu cold storage A bunch of smaller storage boxes for all your bits & bobs.
A lot of the sensitive areas are reinforced with Xenu armor.
make sure you spawn it facing the right way (you have to have your back to the sun) for the solar panels to work. If you can get it close enough to a sun then it will run fully powered on pure solar, no need to fuel it ever.
