SSW Dolabra - Reforged Agile Cruiser

The dolabra (doh-LAH-bra) is a versatile axe used by the people of Italy since ancient times. The dolabra could serve as a pickaxe used by miners and excavators, a priest's implement for ritual religious slaughtering of animals and as an entrenching tool (mattock) used in Roman infantry tactics.

SSW presents the Dolabra, an agile cruiser for the Reforged Eden scenario. This SC4, 10kt, 4 Aux Core brute was nearly finished when RE 1.7's new shield setup dropped and was subsequently revisited and completely reconfigured internally. The Dolabra comes well-equipped from the factory with

Advanced Shield Generator, all eight (8) Large Shield Capacitors/Chargers, and one (1) Shield Capacitor Bank for a total shield of 30k hp and recharge of 250. Advanced Warp Drive Turrets: 12 Heavy Laser, 4 Missile, 4 Sentinel Flak, 2 Heavy Positron, and 2 Heavy Minigun Six (6) Artillery Cannons 2x 320k Ammo controllers 400k Cargo controller plus various smaller labeled cargo boxes Advanced Constructor Long Range Radar Teleporter (trigger plate activated) Biomedical and Oxygen Stations, Wireless, Armor Locker, Shower, Bunk Bed Small aft landing pad for a Mhanga or similar SV

The Dolabra comes delivered with a series of upgrade LCDs turned on so you can see where the remaining 5 medium shield boosters and 4 Large Gens can be located. Spacing for four (4) additional manual weapons and 21 additional turrets also included (some minor deco and trim may need removal).

Spacing for the remaining 6 Aux cores down in the Engineering bay is labeled (remove the grates). Eight additional CPU enhancers (Quantum CPUs, Hamster cores, etc) can be crammed in there as well.

The nose is a Combat Steel/Heavy Window matrix with embedded thrusters and a Small Gen as decoys in case the pilot wants to try face-tanking. One of the brochure photos shows the location of the breakaway core, well ahead of the expensive bits in the rear.

Enough solar panels are embedded to run the ship at under 400W with all major systems powered off.
