Starlight Drifter

My original Millennium Falcon build was a hefty size class 10 and weighed in at 2.42 kilotons. While the size of it allowed me a lot of creative freedom in making a faithful recreation of the Falcon, it's horribly out of date at this point and too big for most servers so I decided to make something smaller.

The Starlight Drifter is size class 3 and 125 tons. In the very first screenshot you can see the difference in size between this and the old Falcon. I've given some consideration to roleplay value but also tried to make it as functional as possible. You'll find the fridge in the galley for example and the armor locker is in the crew quarters. Even the spare corridor serves a purpose with a drone hatch(grates on the floor indicate the best spot to stand to launch your drone).

The smaller size presented certain design challenges. I wanted to keep the thrusters external but give it enough power to maneuver and the smaller sized thrusters just weren't going to cut it. I think the compromise I reached works. It's not an exact replica of the Falcon. Instead I've made it into its own thing. It's easily recognizable as a YT class freighter with its familiar styling and layout but you'll find a lot of unique elements in the build.
