The Sabaton is a Core-7 Carrier-launched Attack ship made for REFORGED EDEN 2.
The Sabaton is a creature of necessity, built at only 4 Targettable blocks tall, this ship was built to quickly close distance, live in enemy blind spots, and rip their throat out w/ 20 Manual Plasma Cannons. The Sabaton is designed to end fights quickly, by directly coring, or de-powering enemy vessels with Manual-target selection. She requires NO COMPLEX PARTS, & NO KITS, and is designed to be brought into game easily for early and mid-game combat.
The Sabaton has 4 Chaingun turrets w/ omni-directional coverage, plus 360 degree coverage by 10 Additional sentry turrets, for easy swatting of multiple drones at short and long range. The ship has Full & uniform Omni-directional speeds, it will strafe sideways alongside enemy vessels at full pace while you rip them in half or strip off their turrets. The Sabaton is also handsomely armored, this is a Small but VERY HARD ship, you have the full range of decoys embedded into a combat steel Bow, +3x redundant power generation, each generator individually segregated and wrapped in combat steel. Every vital component in this ship is individually segregated and individually armored into a honeycomb, your internal space is small for a reason, you are sitting on a Honeycomb of combat steel. The destruction of any one device is inconsequential to the ship's survival, as all components are multi-redundant. You are Warpless and thus cannot be targetted in your warp, forcing all fire through a Combat Steel hardened nose.
This airframe has been extensively tested and was designed to stop all chain reaction explosions, every external device and weapon can be blown off this ship, and the vessel will still be powered. You could suffer the loss of one entire side of the ship, and it will still fly. You have A half dozen layers of Solid combat steel between you and even your 1st generator decoy, I jostled against tovera with this ship from range and it can take that kind of beating for 15+ minutes. Armor is not your problem and you are moe than a match for quite a lot of penetrative damage.
The Sabaton also mounts dozens of turrets, and is an interchangeable airframe for use as both a Manual-fire dynamo, or a Long-range turret harrier, or both. It serves well in either role. The ship has dedicated space for either a Warp OR additional shield expansion. I like this ship as a carrier-launched combat vessel, but it can also be purposed as a daily driver or All-in-one. Options abound, I've left nearly 100,000 additional CPU for you to customize the vehicle to your needs. The Sabaton can also house the Maximum number of Reforged Eden crew members inside of it's wings.
You are agile, you are Hard as a rock, and the enemy literally can't see you. The Sabaton was appropriately named, as it kicks the living dog&%it out of anything it encounters.
