This Turret Pod is simply an HV with 4 minigun turrets on the top. There is 1 generator & 4 fuel tanks in the bottom. It contains 1250 ammo storage, which will hold over 12k rounds of ammo. It does not require any CPU extenders, which is why this is so cheap to spawn. The core provides 5k of CPU, and this is below that amount!
Designed with Reforged Eden in mind, spawning this will not trigger a drone attack like a CV does starting with 1.5. These can be cheaply made, and spread around your base area to provide protection. It can also be used to create a safe perimeter to spawn a CV.
The pods of 4 miniguns quickly kill any drones, predators, or wandering troops nearby. Making this an extremely powerful early game defense option.
