The Dragon Soul is a new era ship that was designed to replace the VERTEX Draken after it's loss at the battle of Yoken Prime in the A&V Thousand Year War, year 782. this ship was the soul successor to the Draken as wen the ship was found in the year 997 of the A&V war, was salvaged and parts from the Draken was given to the new body of the new dragon ship giving it it's name the Dragon Soul. the Dragon Soul was a new class of ship and for the first time in thousands of years the Vertexians once again reached for the stars beyond giving this ship the Explorer classification along with it being a light destroyer. this model was the base model of the Dragon Soul ships, even though this ship is the one and only true Dragon Soul of the Draken ship the fleet of ships that followed where more equiped then this model making it the only Dragon Soul Ship to not have a Shield generator or a warpdrive. once a year there is memmorial held on this ship for the those that loss there lives at the battle of Yoken Prime. this ship help usher in the new era of the Great Calm that has help kept the peace for 199 years.
