About Additional trains

From Factorio Mod Portal

Additional trains mod is based on Yuoki Industries - Railroads/ Railways/ Americans. Added only locomotives and wagons without buildings, etc. All locomotives use standard fuel

TLDR: Mod contains locomotives, cargo/fluid wagons from Yuoki-Industries-Railroads/ Railways/ Americans mods, added settings, and new content.

Long version: Occasionally, I enjoy playing Factorio. I love trains, and Yuoki Industries mods are great, but there are no options that I needed in my playthrough.

So I created this mod, all graphics assets are from YIR mods, some of them I changed/added using GIMP (colorize / hue-chroma), so there are more locomotives, cargo/fluid wagons. Added some scripts to easier to manage everything and at the same time, learn the Lua language.

There are 3 size categories of locomotive, cargo/ fluid wagons. Tiny is the cheapest and slowest. (default two times cheaper) Small - cost standard locomotive/ cargo wagon. Normal - more expensive and faster

Standard locomotive, cargo/fluid wagon is in the normal category, so it is expensive. e.g., Your standard locomotive costs 10 items-> so by default from this mod: tiny locomotive will cost 5, small = 10, and normal = 20. And a standard locomotive will use an expensive recipe, so = 20. I only multiply/ divide recipe ingredients.

There are options to change the speed, power, health, and weight of those categories. I wanted some variety.

I'm not sure how locomotives, wagons, etc, will work with elevated rails. I don't have expansion.

Mod mostly created for myself, but if someone likes trains, have fun :).
