Armor Plating Redux

Armor Plating Redux redefines combat in _Factorio 2.0_ by introducing a sacrificial _Reactive Armor_ system. Equip high-tech reinforced plates on vehicles AND your character — they absorb incoming damage to protect the hull, providing a crucial survival layer for your toughest battles.

A dedicated defense mechanism that prioritizes armor integrity over health.

> WARNING: Armor plates do not regenerate. Once deployed, their HP is fixed until destruction or manual replacement.

> Plates can be equipped on vehicles (cars, spidertrons, trains) AND player character armor.

Not all damage is equal. Armor plates react differently depending on the incoming damage type.

> The modifier affects armor degradation speed. Your vehicle/character is always shielded by the absorbed damage regardless of type.

Armor isn't free — heavier plating slows vehicles down via increased friction.
