A tall 4x4 laser tower with its own graphics. Requires Space Age.
How it fights
- Charges up for half a second (the heatsink heats up), then fires a red lightning pulse:
120 laser + 20 impact damage
- From the target, laser beams strike every enemy within 8 tiles (15 damage each)
- The hit leaves a small, short fire (doesn't spread)
- Range 32, 0.4 shots/s base; laser damage and shooting speed research apply
- Uses 1.5x the laser turret's energy per shot
Graphics
- Rendered in Blender, 64 directions; the emitter head tilts down when it wakes up
- Player colour on the painted panels
- The heatsink glows red as it charges and cools down after each shot
- Warm lamps under the head and a red heat light at night
Recipe and research
- Electromagnetic plant: 5 laser turrets, 10 superconductors, 1 holmium plate, 100 electrolyte
- Own Fulgora research next to the tesla turret, plus laser turrets
Coming from DjKolekson Additions 1.1.x?
The turret used to be part of DjKolekson Additions. Install this mod together with Additions 1.2.0 or newer: your prism turrets, items and research carry over.
Notes
The red lightning pulse uses recolored copies of Space Age beam graphics.
