About Editor Extensions Hider

From Factorio Mod Portal

Keeps Editor Extensions out of sight during normal play. Hides its tabs/items and disables the map editor shortcut and keybind so you can leave EE installed without it getting in the way. Everything still works in the editor. Optional: lets you disable all editor access in normal saves Optional: lets you disable the /cheat command

Add-on for Editor Extensions by raiguard that keeps EE out of sight and prevents accidentally enabling the editor in your regular saves.

This is for people who want to have Editor Extensions enabled without it potentially affecting their regular saves. By default, you won’t see any EE items/tabs or the shortcut button, and optionally, you can make it impossible to enable the editor at all in a regular save, though you can still enter the editor by creating or loading an editor save.

What it does

  • Hides EE tab and items from all menus (except in the editor)
  • Removes map editor shortcut button and prevents the keybind from working outside of the editor
  • Adds the /editor-ee command to enter/leave the editor with the shortcut hidden
  • Adds start-up setting to leave the shortcut and keybind working like normal (default: off)
  • Adds start-up setting to lock the map editor out of regular saves entirely, making it only usable in editor maps (default: off)
  • Adds map setting to block the /cheat command entirely (default: off)
