About Frozeta: Nuclear Winter
From Factorio Mod PortalAn overhaul for frozeta's progression and rewards.
Overhauls the progression on Secretas/frozeta to make it more unique and to provide more items.
Technology: The planets now have 2 science packs, one made on Frozeta's surface, the other one made in space above Secretas. This should make you build up more industry.
Resources: Scrap no longer contains solid fuel, instead you are expected to rely on nuclear heating. (rockets can still be launched from local materials) You also process it differently from fulgora, but I won't spoil that.
Additional rewards:
- additional nuclear power options
- heat powered inserters
- a belt that won't freeze (t1 speed, meant for lines that your base uses to revive after freezing over)
- additional cargo bays and asteroid grabbers for your new orbital factories.
- a new furnace (can be turned off) and assembling machine
- a nuclear train, because you don't have any local burnable fuel.
Recipe locks are also applied more properly/strongly now. Tech tree is also sanitized.
