Short Description

Originally, in Factorio, up to version 0.16 inclusive, there was no way to find out which recipes used specific items or fluids. The vanilla search is done by recipe names, so sometimes ingredients are directly mentioned in the recipe name, which is not ideal in my opinion, but it allows you to find the necessary recipes somehow. In the vanilla version of the game, there are relatively few recipes, so searching through them doesn't take much time, and this issue isn't as noticeable. However, when more recipes are added, for example by installing mods, searching for recipes becomes a bigger problem. If you want to find out which recipes produce a specific item or fluid, you won't be able to do that. Similarly, you won't be able to find recipes where a particular item or fluid is used as an ingredient.

This mod allows you to search through all recipes in the game, including those from installed and active mods. The main point of reference for searching recipes is items and fluids. To search for a recipe, you need to select an item or fluid, after which you can view the lists of recipes where the selected prototype is used as an ingredient or produced as a result of the recipe.

The recipe viewing interface is as detailed as possible. It shows the recipe name, its execution time without considering speed modifiers, all recipe ingredients and their quantities, the results of the recipe and their quantities, the technology required to unlock the recipe (if applicable), the list of buildings where this recipe can be set, and the time required for each building to execute the recipe considering all speed modifiers.
