About Enhanced Crude Oil Smoke
From Factorio Mod PortalTweaks smoke clouds from oil deposits: more amount, faster rate, customizable look.
A small quality-of-life mod that enhances the vanilla smoke coming from crude oil patches.
- Makes oil smoke denser (default 2× more clouds) and fully configurable via startup settings:
- Density multiplier
- Animation speed multiplier
- Custom dark color tint (default very subtle near-black with partial opacity)
- Keeps the original vanilla look and feel – no new graphics, just subtle improvements for better visibility.
Created with RadarIsAdvanced in mind: helps you spot oil patches a bit easier in the early game before you have radar coverage.
Pure prototype mod – no runtime script.
