About No Quality, No Problem

From Factorio Mod Portal

Removes quality progression and applies the highest quality tier's bonuses to factory entities and player equipment. Enemies and world hazards retain normal stats.

Removes quality progression and applies the highest available quality tier's bonuses to factory entities and player equipment: legendary by default, or a higher tier supplied by another mod. Enemies, asteroids and world hazards retain normal stats.

Requires Factorio 2.1 with Quality enabled. Space Age is optional.

  • Hides quality badges, selectors and quality unlocks; removes quality effects from modules.
  • Hides unused quality modules and their research. Modules required by useful crafting

recipes remain available as inert ingredients with their original costs and research. Recycling and module-only recipes do not trigger retention.

  • Preserves existing item quality identities. Items with different original qualities

remain separate stacks, even though their quality bonuses are identical.

  • Some world entities added by other mods may require additional exclusions.

Releases are validated in headless Factorio with Quality alone and with Space Age, including player, crafting and world-stat regression checks.
