About Not Alone

From Factorio Mod Portal

You didn’t crash-land alone, and you don’t have to build the factory alone either. Not Alone adds human teammates with different roles (miners, builders, carriers, and soldiers) to help build your factory. Check the in-game Factoriopedia if you're confused. Not Alone brings a small team of autonomous survivors into Factorio, turning factory expansion into a shared effort. Each teammate has a distinct role: miners gather resources, builders construct ghosted machines, carriers move materials through logistic networks, and soldiers defend the growing factory. They are organized through Habitats, where players can deploy teammates, assign roles, and manage their growing workforce.

The mod is built around cooperation between people and automation. Teammates use Factorio’s logistics networks to find materials, deliver supplies, refuel machines, support production, and return to their Habitats when their work is complete. Not Alone aims to make the factory feel inhabited and purposeful, adding dependable helpers who extend the player’s reach while preserving the familiar logistics, construction, exploration, and combat systems of Factorio.
