To be honest, I thought of the name first and then I pretty much had to make this mod.

This mod expands the role of acids and bases. It adds hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, as well as acetic acid and hydrofluoric acid if you're using Space Age; it also adds sodium hydroxide and calcium oxide, and ammonia to vanilla games and makes ammonia available earlier in the game in Space Age. Some significant recipes are changed, like plastic and advanced thruster fuel, but many of the new uses of these chemicals are helpful but optional, like enhanced oil processing (especially if you're using Scrappy Chemistry) or acid washing to make steel smelting faster and more efficient. All this new chemistry means Vulcanus is generally made more difficult, as you can't just pull usable sulfuric acid out of the ground any more.

While this mod is definitely quite playable in its current state, there's still some work to do and I can't guarantee there won't be breaking changes in the future. It could also use more playtesting than what I was able to do on my own, which may result in balance changes.

The mod is well integrated with Crushing Industry and Scrappy Chemistry by SafTheLamb. It also has good support for my own mods, like Voidcraft, Iridescent Industry, and All That Glitters.
