About Robot Tree Farm
From Factorio Mod PortalRobots can plant and harvest trees
Every tree drops 1 seed of his own species. You can plant it and when it's grown up, it gets marked for deconstruction and replanted automatically. By default you can't plant them in desert but you can use landfill or water gun to create farmland anywhere. (see the settings) For additional difficulty i recommend the mod Bot Servicing , which is 100% compatible with this.
