About Slocomotives
From Factorio Mod PortalSlows train acceleration. Maximum speed is not affected.
Slows down train acceleration and increases braking distance. Works by multiplying locomotive and wagon weights by the number specified in the Train weight factor setting. A weight factor less than 1 will cause trains to accelerate faster. This mod does not change fuel bonuses or maximum speeds (although heavier trains may not reach top speed on shorter routes).
I made this because I wanted to see trains that handled like trains and not like rocket sleds.
