About Treez - Automated Tree Planting

Treez lets construction robots plant trees for you, automatically, using seeds from your logistic network.
Place seeds as ghosts
Tree seeds are normally not blueprintable. This mod makes them work like any other ghost — shift-click the ground to mark a spot, or stamp a blueprint full of them. Construction robots will plant each one as soon as seeds are available in the network.
Placement is validated against vanilla tree spacing, so ghosts that can't legally be fulfilled (blocked by buildings terrain, or existing trees) are skipped.
Tree Seeder selection tool
A button in your shortcut bar opens the Tree Seeder:
- Set a density (10–100%)
- Drag a selection over any area
- Ghosts are scattered randomly across the selection at that density
- Robots plant them automatically
At 100% every valid tile gets a ghost; lower values produce natural-looking, sparser coverage.
A single-seed mode checkbox switches to placing one ghost per click instead of over an area.
Requires the Space Age expansion. The latest version 0.1.909 is compatible only with Factorio 2.1+. Please download 0.1.828 to use with 2.0.
