About Train alert
From Factorio Mod PortalWhen a train or wagon dies, print an alert message to players and a map tag on its last position.
Ever had the unpleasant surprise of finding your factory starving resources all of a sudden ? Only the find out one of your trains got destroyed and generated a deadlock on your resource transport network.
There is alerts when a train is attacked and destroyed in vanilla gameplay, but it's easy to miss and doesn't persists since it's not a rebuildable structure that generated a 30min ghost. Also it only shows up if the train was attacked under radar coverage !
This mods helps informing the players that trains got problems to be able to fix them before it becomes an even bigger problem !
- When a locomotive, cargo-wagon or fluid-wagon is destroyed, a message is broadcasted to all the players of the team the train was belonging to.
- A map marker with the train/wagon icon is also added on the map to easly find where it happened (and should be deleted manually when fixed).
It should works with most modded trains / wagons that uses the same types as listed above (exemple : it works with the FARL locomotive : https://mods.factorio.com/mods/Choumiko/FARL).
