About WePlay: Personal Rocket Launcher Equipment
From Factorio Mod PortalArmor equipment that automatically fires rockets at nearby enemies, pulling ammo straight from your inventory.
Strap a rocket launcher to your back and let it do the work! 🚀
The Personal Rocket Launcher is a 3x3 armor equipment module that automatically fires rockets at nearby enemies. It pulls ammo straight from your main inventory, so just carry a stack of rockets and go!
Features
- Fires automatically at the nearest enemy in range.
- Uses any rocket ammo in your inventory: regular rockets, explosive rockets, atomic bombs, and rockets from other mods.
- Loads the best rocket you're carrying first, using your Rocket priority setting.
- The loaded ammo's icon shows on the launcher in your armor grid.
- Range, damage and shooting speed show in the tooltip.
- Rocket damage and shooting speed research apply.
- Fire rate stacks: every extra launcher fires on its own, so more launchers means more rockets!
- Doesn't use any energy from your armor grid. It only needs rockets.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + R to toggle it on or off. Loaded rockets go back into your inventory. (You can rebind this in the controls menu.)
- Unlocked with Rocketry.
✨ Quality
Higher quality launchers get +10% range and +30% damage per quality level.
☢️ Nuke option
Atomic rockets are off by default. If you're feeling brave, turn on "Allow atomic rockets" in your per-player mod settings. Maybe you've got some crazy shields that can tank the blast? 😈
Atomic rockets won't fire at enemies closer than the Atomic minimum range (30 tiles by default). Higher quality launchers reach farther, which gives you more room to work with.
Space Exploration compatibility
Space Exploration's antimatter rockets count as atomic, so they stay locked behind the same nuke toggle. Space Exploration is an optional dependency, which makes sure its rockets are picked up correctly.
