AEROWING - Wearable Wing Pack & Flight System

Strap a winged jetpack on your back and fly anywhere in Garry's Mod. Hover with pink jet flames, unfold the wings and dive into fast flight with 4 speeds, fire the shoulder SMG tube, rocket salvos and a charged plasma cannon, lock on targets like the Glide homing missiles, and detach the pack to pilot it as a drone, let it guard you or plant it as a turret. Port of the GTA V script mod Aerowing by Stantheman. Works in Sandbox and on RP servers.

How to use it

Weapons

• Shoulder SMG tube: hold left click, the tube comes out of the pack and fires. Optional auto mode on foot with the wings folded
• Free missiles: salvo of 6 rockets from the pods, straight at the crosshair
• Lock-on missiles: like Glide, keep a target near the crosshair, the box turns green then red "LOCKED", and the rockets home in
• Plasma cannon: hold to charge, release to fire a cyan plasma ball, the explosion grows with the charge
• Auto flares: in flight, rockets fired at you are lured away by flares

Flight

• Hover with jet flames, body leaning with the movement, brake
• Fast flight with 4 speeds, wing tip trails, dodges, fast camera
• Fast launch from the ground, skydive when falling then blast into fast flight
• Cinematic take-off camera (off by default, can be turned on in the menu)
• Water makes the jetpack malfunction, like in the mod

Drone

• Pilot: fly the pack yourself, fire its pod guns and the plasma
• Guard: it follows you and attacks hostiles, plasma strike on crowds and helicopters
• Turret: plant it, it guards the spot
• It breaks out of your car window to follow you, and catches you when you fall

Server owners

• Network friendly: events only, no per-tick traffic, server-side cooldowns, the client is never trusted
• Not part of Hero Arsenal: its own Aerowing spawn menu category, no superhero needed
