WHAT IS THIS? Every player car from Drift City Remastered - 124 cars across nine tiers - drivable in Garry's Mod with the game's own handling model: grip, drifting, boost, engine sounds, lights and the in-game paint palette, plus the toolgun tools to tune, dress and decal them. The game's traffic, HUV and boss vehicles are included as props.
HOW DO I USE IT? Spawn the cars from the Vehicles tab of the spawn menu: Drift City has a page per tier. Click a colour on the palette at the top of a page to preview every icon in that paint; cars spawn in the chosen colour.
- Drift - tap Space while steering at speed; counter-steer to straighten out, tap again the other way to flip.
- Shift - tap for boost, hold for the clutch.
- Gearbox - Alt + right click cycles AT / SEQ / MT / MT+CLUTCH; in MT the number keys pick a gear.
- Lights - Down arrow for the head lamps; the brake, reverse and indicator lamps work on their own.
- B - tap to show the controls legend, hold to peek at it.
THE TOOLS In the tool menu. Aim at a car and left click to target it, left click again to apply; right click copies a car's setup into the tool, reload resets the car, Z undoes.
- Drift City - Tune (handling), Body (paint, body parts, roof items), Wheels (183 wheel designs), Booster (every boost flame from the game, themed ones included), Smoke, Neon (the game's six underglow colours or a custom tint).
- Drift City - Decals - Importer (the game's vinyls, or your own image from a link), Vehicle Edit (place, mirror, rotate and scale decals on the bodywork), Vehicle Set Save / Vehicle Set Load (save a car's decals and put them on another), Share (let other players see a car's decals) and Browser (the decals other players have shared).
Decals are yours alone until you share the car: only then do other players see them.
REQUIREMENTS? None for the cars on any map. To drive them through the city, use the Drift City maps with the Infinite Map Engine.
ANYTHING ELSE? Everything a tool changes stays on the car and is copied by the duplicator.
